Description:There is a lot of erotic animation "hentai" in Japan. Many titles are released every year. It's not nearly as prolific as, say, the American porn industry, but it's still a big money maker. Obviously, this is due in no small part to Japanese culture; animation is seen differently there than it is in, say, America. I don't know if or how much American attitudes towards animation have changed in recent years, but I judge that there's still a prevailing opinion that animation is generally "kid's stuff," and as such an erotic cartoon is conceptually jarring, like the sexuality in Cool World.
